Cococay weekend
 

Living tomorow over the weekend to Bahamas with Monarch of the Sea. I hope we will dock in Cococay, wether looks bad.

You do not dock at Coco Cay. It is a tender boat port only. If the waters are too rough they will not let passengers go ashore.

I know, this is going to be 3 time that we can't go if wether is bad. Just bad luck.

On the Rock Legends cruise in December we initially were not going to be able to tender to Coco Cay. I think they had already announced it. But then the Captain decided to wait a bit longer and the water calmed down. I didn't go ashore though. The swells returned later on, and I was glad I wasn't in a tender coming back from the island.

In all honesty, I wouldn't be too disappointed if you can't go there, if I were you. It is just a beach with really nothing special and the whole tendering experience makes it less worth the hassle.

The next time my family goes there, we are going to enjoy the less crowded ship like a sea day.
