Inexpensive but nice hotels

Can someone give me a few names of some hotels close to port and with free shuttles to port and airport? I had almost picked the Hilton pier 66 but too many bad reviews. Staying the day before the cruise, not looking to pay over120.00, how is Comfort Inns. Also we are planning on taking the River Queen dinner cruise how is this?

I always use Priceline.com and have never been disappointed. Two weeks ago I got a $175 room for $50. It was the Marriott by the airport in Orlando. Just bid on a 3 star near the airport and you may get lucky. You can't bid on any particular hotel, but you can bid on a location (airport, downtown, etc.). You just might get the Hilton pier 66!

Comfort Inns are usually pretty nice, and reasonably priced. That's a good link that Dave linked to in an earlier post. The Comfort Suites should be nice as well, as those are nicer than Comfort Inns, but owned by the same company, Choice Hotels.

Whenever I travel, I always try to look for Comfort Inns or Comfort Suites.

We have used Hotwire many times. You can't pick the hotel, but we look for at least 3.5 stars. In February, we stayed at the Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa in Ft. Lauderdale for
$108 per night. The Westin's website showed rooms were in the $350 range, so we feel we got an excellent bargain.
