shuttle buses

We are doing a Baltic cruise this summer. As RC ships are quite large, sometimes they have to dock at ports that are away from the city in commercial areas. Does RC lay on shuttle buses from these ports that are not walking distance? How much do they usually charge and do you book your place on these shuttles in advance?

I've not done those specific ports but my experience at other places has been that if the ship has docked in an industrial area of a port, or far from the exit, shuttles are free and continuously coming and going when the big rush of passengers occurs. You just get on one with no reservations needed.

When I did the Baltic in 2006 Celebrity charged $5 in Copenhagen. No reservation needed.
