Repositioning on Jewel OTS

My wife and I (MAINLY I) want to take this cruise from Boston to Tampa for 14 days in October, 2013, and book a GS for the first time. Attempting to think and plan ahead, I'd like to book this as FAR in advance as possible so as to give my credit card time to cool off and stop smoking before we depart. I've called the "vacation planner" for RCL several times over the past two months, even talking to the lady on Voyager in March to see when the cruise could be listed as available, and they all say "should be out by the end of the month at the latest"; not happened yet. Does anyone have any ideas or heard anything on when this MAY be posted as available? I have a "next cruise booking number" burning a hole in my wallet waiting to be used for this sailing; we LOVED Radience last year, and are looking forward to Jewel next year. Anyone?

Where did you hear about this cruise? I can't find it anywhere and as you know, they do not show anything past April 2013 for the Jewel.

Dave, I'm going on the assumption that the same cruise that leave THIS year on Oct 28th will be repeated next year around the same time, since they have to shift a ship to Tampa for the Winter months through March 2014. Am I way off here?

Jim, the same cruise was also offered in 2011, on October 29. I hope it works out for you, as it sounds amazing.

It is a reasonable assumption. I am thinking RCI is looking at their deployment options past next April and are holding off on committing the Jewel.

I just booked the transatlantic on the Brilliance for 2013. Bookings are slowly filtering out. You just have to keep looking a coule times a day!

sorry Jim, just re- read your post. It looks like the Brilliance is going to be taking the place of Jewel. Check her itineraries!

I really don't care which ship we sail on, as long as we sail. Brilliance will do just as well as Jewel-it's the class of ship we like, and the length. I guess I'll just have to keep watch for the sail date release. Thanks all!!
