Default Transatlantic!
I should never be left home alone on a rainy day with a computer and a credit card. I just booked a transatlantic sailing on the Brilliance OTS!
The ports include Dublin, Cork, Paris, Faroe Islands, and an overnight in Reykjavik!
Funny thing is that when I was looking over my reservation, I realize it actually leaves on my anniversary.
Now I just have to wait until 2013...I hope I don't drive you guys nuts.

Sounds fantastic. We booked Vision in Sep. from Southampton to Ft.Lauderdale. Four couples going. It was booked when the other 3 couples were drinking wine (we were out of town). They realized the next what they had done and were pretty excited. They called us and we jumped on it. Turned out it leaves the day after my wife's 60th Birthday and is at sea on my birthday. So...what the heck... what a better way to celebrate than a 14 night ruise with close friends? Only one thing better....booked the Grand Suite! Figure my wife deserves it.
Can't wait. Thanks "Demon" Wine!

That cruise sounds really interesting and certainly something different with the overnight in Iceland. I might book it but I'll wait and do it while aboard our next cruise so I get some OBC out of it, and my agent still gets the booking.

With our son graduating high school next year we are once again able to transition to cruising when we want to, and not being slaves to a public school schedule. I'm loving it already! No more need to cruise when the prices are highest.

For some unknown reason, this particular cruise has an almost cult-like following. I booked it the day it opened and the cabins were already limited. The JS category is already listed as sold out. whether this is due to agents booking blocks or what I'm not sure!
The fact that it returns to Boston was the icing on the cake for me. The cruise port and airpot are fairly close, so we can park at the cruise lot and take a bus to the airpot.

I remember a Navy shipmate of mine got orders for shore duty in Iceland. At the time I didn't realize the USN had a presence in Iceland. Of course the big joke was 'Hey Al, that's a really cool duty station!'.

Looks like $3k for two people inside cabin, $4k for an outside. Not bad for 15 nights.

Great job Poor Mom,
I think you nailed when you said cult following. We also booked it right after it went on sail and we were able to get a hump cabin on deck 8 . We are also sailing the Jewel this August which is the same route but one extra day. They added Newfoundland to break up the 5 sea days after leaving Iceland. This will be our first time going Paris and Iceland so were really excited about that. We have about 15 months and like many on CC we would love to add the baltic sailing just prior for 12 nights with an overnight in St Petersburg. The Brilliance also will be newly enhanced by the time we sail on it. It goes in to drydock in May 2013 so we will have a pub and many new restaurants. I will miss the Seaview Cafe. With any luck we will be able to see the Aurora Borealis

Iceland is fabulous. I went on a snowmobile vacation there back in 1993. The Blue Lagoon is the big hot spot.

I would like to hold off on booking it until aboard the Enchantment next month so we get the OBC.
