Shore Excursions

Greetings, thanks to everyone for all the awesome information you have posted. I am going on my first cruise, mexican riviera in march out of Los Angeles. I would like some information on booking shore excursions. I see their are many options to buy in advance. Does anyone have some info or tips on where to purchase excursions in advance? Thank you

I am a huge fan of Shoretrips.com. You will not save a tremendous amount of $$ over the cruise line. You will however be going with a company that is US based, insured, and has not had anyone miss a ship in 8 years of business. The big consideration for us going with them, however, is we have always had very small group sizes compared to the cruiseline where 3000+ passengers are all booking tours. Some activities the group has been just our family. They are great.

I always do a google search and book with the tour people direct. I don't like paying someone a commission for some thing I can do sitting in front of my computer. I wouldn't book an ATV excursion in Mazatlan unless you like eating dust.

Shoretrips.com is very reliable and offers a large number of excursions. We used them in Cabo last year.

We've used shoretrips.com several times and they have always been cheaper and we've never had any problems. The best part is you walk right by the long line of people waiting for their ship cruise tour while you are on your way to play.

We had a great experience with Puerto Vallarta Cruise Excursions

We did the canopy zipline and atv and had an amazing time. They even included Tequila tasting, lol

In Cabo we did a whale watching tour through the ship and now wish we would have done that independently as the PV tour was so much better
