Many many cruises

I have noticed from all the cruise tickers that many of you all have here you have cruises booked out for months at a time some even back to back. Well I am NOT hating or anything like that, I just think that is a wonderful thing. ...Just tell me you all's secret, ....please. LOL. I mean I'm glad to have been able to do the ones I have done. I did 1 in January but hadn't cruise since 2008, now that's way to long to have to wait to cruise. I want to be like you all when I grow up. ( Smiling). That is truly a great thing.

Same here. That's part of the problem for me -- I'm not grown up yet! We cruise two weeks per year, if we're lucky, as either one 2-week cruise or two shorter cruises. Work gets in the way, especially as my husband is a teacher and vacation time is limited to high season.

This year, we've done one 7-nighter and that will probably be it for a variety of reasons. Just wanted to reassure you that you're not alone.

The secret to being able to do so many cruises is being close enough to a port to be able to drive . . . when one has to fly to sail, the cost at least doubles.... I've even seen circumstances in which the airfare would be more than the cabin (we usually do inside cabins). We did two cruises last year, but only because we were able to drive to San Diego for one of them. I've told DH that we need to retire to Florida to be closer to cruise ports. . . heat and humidity be D ***ed....

Well the secret for me was working all my life and getting old... oops I mean older. :OD It sure does help to live on the coast close to ports. I did just cruise out of Venice and the airfare was more than the cruise and it was awful (hate that part).
