Hi. This is my first post on this board. We are planning to take Sovereign of the Seas in late September. I am curious about the BBQ in Coco Cay. I am vegetarian (though I do ocasionally eat seafood). Will there be enough there for me to make a meal of, or will I need to take the tender back to the ship to get a full meal that day? Also, how much are the Coco Locos? Thanks!

Regal, I'm not sure, but I do know it's "The Drink" they push on Coco Cay. I'm not sure what's in it, though. Lots of the reviews I've read say to make sure and try it, so I feel I must!

To answer your question about the food on CocoCay, you'll probably have to go back the ship. However, if you eat a really good breakfast and take one of the late morning tenders, then you may be okay since the day on island ends around 3 p.m. It's a slow process from ship to island and back so I know you won't feel like doing that. The meal on the island consists of hamburgers, hotdogs, ribs, some type of potato salad, pasta and hamburger fixings. So if your not starving you'll probably be okay. The Coco Locos are delicious. Like a mix of pina coloda and daquiri. But get them from the bars. The servers go around trying to sell them all melted...yuk!

HELLO PAIGE,

I HAVE TO SAY I THINK YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO GET ALL THE FRESH FRUIT AND SOME VEGGIES THAT YOU WANT DURING LUNCH. WE HAVE BEEN TO COCO CAY MANY TIMES, AND NEVER LEAVE HUNGRY, EVEN IF WE STAY AWAY FROM THE MEAT. REAL GOOD COOKIES TOO.
AS FOR THE COCO LOCO'S, YES, YOU MUST TRY THEM.
YOU WILL HAVE A SMILE ON YOUR FACE ALL DAY.

SEE YA

CURT & VAL
