Weddings on RCI...

Hi guys,

I last went on a cruise over 5 years ago with RCI.

My sister in law has mentioned getting married on a cruise, and has asked if i can help look at the options.

Is that possible with RCI?

Do you have to actually get married/registered here before you go and then just have a ceremony onboard??

Are there only certain ships in the fleet that offer weddings?

You need to work with the Royal Caribbean wedding consultant. I believe they do them on all ships. Royal Caribbean Weddings

My husband and I went on Freedom of the Seas in October 2010. I believe there were 2 wedding on board. I know 1 couple got married on the ship. There was a "Newlywed show" on board..Almost exactly like TV show. One couple was dressed in wedding attire. I did see another couple taking pictures on the "bridge". Can not remember if it was same couple or not. One couple (If there were two) may have had ceremony "at port" but did pics on board.

I know you can register for items on board. I remember finding registery section on website and was kinda upset, Cause that would of been a great place to get married and have registery.
