Talking Drinks
That's why I like the longer cruises. A) It's a vacation, not a trip to the local pub, and 2) I drink cheaper at home. Do, however, like those frozen thingies...............

We recently went on FOTS (Dec 2-9th). One gentleman bought this package. Was on cruise with his wife. His wife did not buy package. He was drunk everynight. Was difficult not to notice him. He was a younger man..Maybe late 20's early 30's. My first thought was you spend all this money on a cruise, airfare, gas (if you rent a car). And possible hotel before and/or after. Why would you want to be drunk every night. I want to enjoy my cruise.

Don't get me wrong I like my drink or 2 (I have never purchased more than 2 drinks). In fact I pre ordered a bottle of wine for room and never finished it. (I rarely drink so when I drink I get tipsy after 2). I'm a cheap date

While aboard Liberty Of The Seas last week one of my friends on the bar staff told me they would be getting the booze packages too. He said they were going to start offering it in February on their 4 and 5 night cruises. So, it seems that within the span of a few weeks RCI has broadened the plan to cover everything except 3-night cruises. Initially it was to be for 7-night or longer cruises.

Also, I can confirm that the price includes the 15% tip so when they say $55 per day it won't be $55 plus 15% per day.
