3rd Oasis-class ship ordered

Royal Caribbean has confirmed that a third Oasis-class ship will be built, but at STX France and not STX Finland. The Finland yard built the first two ships of this class but the Finnish government could not come to terms on financing, and so RCI took their business to France. The French yard has also put the option for a fourth ship on the table.

I'm confused; apparently RCL has changed their collective minds since March. While on Voyager the Captain had said that they would not be building another, but would be starting another class of ships, a little like the Freedom class in size; something like Sunset or Sunrise, etc. I didn't think that the Oasis class was being fully loaded on each cruise and that they had begun to change their size direction. Oh well, everyone can change their mind.

Project Sunshine is still happening with two ships being built, and yes they are smaller than Oasis. The first Sunshine vessel is due in 2014.

Thus, we'll be seeing three new RCI ships between now and 2016. Two Sunshine-class and another Oasis-class.

Vietnam spam attacks. We filter out 99.9% with the software but a few still manage to sneak in.
