room placement on ship

Am new to the Royal Caribbean line
have booked cruise Freedom Nov 7, 2010 and have some questions...
does it really matter front of back of ship?
IF you have a room just in back of the "hump" balcony rooms does it block the view looking towards the front of the ship?
Anyone else logged in going same time??

PamP ..... Yes, If your stateroom balcony is behind the "hump"your view will be somewhat cut off....you won't see the bow unless you are part giraffe...but the view looking out to sea is priceless!!! Bear in mind that sticking your head out into the wind will give you a good snootful of ocean breeze and might not result in the best of cruise experiences......balconies located behind the hump enjoy somewhat milder blasts of air when at sea!! They are beautiful cabins and nicely located!!Welcome to cruising....welcome to cruise-chat!! Visit us often!!!
