They are going after the family market. The more activities they provide on the ship will draw that audience. Also, more activities provided will keep people on the ship longer when in port, which in turn could mean more in onboard sales in the form of drinks, and other revenue generating venues.

There are so many who will love this and I do think it will be a younger market and that is great. It just means so many more choices. We like the slower more traditional cruises like Celebrity and there is nothing wrong with that. I see something for everyone ! However I would like to try the sky diving :OD

I think it will be a big hit. So many people second guessed Oasis and Allure saying they could never book 10,000 berths a week and people keep returning. I like the bumper cars and I Fly . I think what RCCL really wants is for more of their seasoned cruisers to shift to Celebrity. We have done a couple and enjoyed them, but the kid in me still enjoys all new stuff. I wish they would replace Johnny Rockets with Five Guys and maybe a batting cage on the sports deck. I would also like to see a swim up bar like most all-Inclusives have.
