Dave, that is so cool! Have a great cruise.

You, too, Brad!

I'll think of you both while I am outside mowing and pulling weeds. Who wants to cruise when they can be doing dirty old yard work? Me.

Bon Voyage!

Nadine

Thank you, Nadine!

I actually will devote exactly 5 seconds on the first sea day to think about pulling weeds while I am sitting by the pool.

Take care,

Brad

Default Congratulation dave!
I'm happy for you, Dave. But what's the point in being Diamond Plus if you have a gold card? I'm really glad you got an upgrade. Those are the phone calls I never forget...especially the ones offering a GS. I know you're going to have a great cruise, and congratulations on your first upgrade.

Brad,

Don't forget to tell Dexter that Sonny and Esther said Hi. If you didn't get my message, Dexter is the Concierge on Deck 11.

We are at sea and it is windy. I'm in the concierge lounge having coffee. A little confusion yesterday as they delivered tour tickets, coupon books, and other stuff to our cabin that were for the people initially booked in it, and our stuff was sent someplace else too. A call to the guest relations desk and people were running around fixing it. They got it all squared away in about an hour and then the F&B Manager sent us a huge tray of snacks and a bottle of champagne. Plus the Hotel Director sent us those hard-to-get VIP show stickers for our cards. Just walk in any show, any time. No reservations needed. Cool.

Great pork chop for dinner last night. No escargot, not on the menu as a standard item, or even tonight at the first formal.

Another change: no sit-down breakfast in the dining room, at least not today. I'll have to get an omelet here in the lounge.

Sonny,

Yes, I got your message. I actually replied, but I don't know that it went through. Something about my phone. We will find him. Thank you so much for the tip!

We are in the terminal waiting to board. Everything is going quite smoothly. This really is a well run operation.

Interesting about the dining room breakfast issue, Dave. I sure hope that I can eat breakfast there. That is one of my favorite things.

Take care!!!

Brad.

Update: they do have regular breakfast in the MDR. However they don't communicate it at all. Waiter last night only said "express breakfast buffet" and that is all the Cruise Compass says. But when we went down to check they had both buffet and menu service.

Have a great time! I'm excited to hear your reaction to the cruise, especially the entertainment.
