Right now we are sitting on Junkanoo Beach in Nassau. Beautiful day. There is free wifi here.

So far the ship is awesome and Chicago was fantastic! Dinner was great last night in the MDR.

Anyway, just reporting in from the Allure.

See ya!

Brad

Thanks all for the cruise live updates from your ships ! It's not like being out there but it does help with the cruise blues !

In Falmouth, Jamaica today. Another perfect day. Went ashore and ambled around. Had a great beef patty and I've cold Red Stripe for lunch. Now back aboard for pool time. Ship is about 60% full if pool occupancy is an indicator. Jamaica just isn't a fun place for many.

We spent the day at Magen's Bay Beach in St. Thomas and it was beautiful as always. We had one short rain shower, otherwise the weather was perfect.

I must say that I really like having all of the dining choices for breakfast and lunch. It seems like we can always find plenty of seats wherever we go. We all did the zip line yesterday and I even rode the carousel with my 10 year old daughter. It is just the slightest bit scary stepping of of the platform overlooking Central Park.

We saw the water show, Ocean Aria last night and it was great! I like the chairs in the theater as well.

We brought my wife's niece along with us on this trip since there was an extra bed in the room with my three daughters. She is 20 years old and is a great companion for my 18 year-old daughter. She lives in Iowa and this is her first cruise so we have had a lot of fun showing her everything.

Oh well, I have to get cleaned up for dinner tonight...rack of lamb, medium rare!

Take care,

Brad.

At sea for us today. Cozumel tomorrow. Dinner at Chops tonight was great. Medium rare filet mignon and oysters.

Oysters, YUM, YUM ! Like my lightly fried as opposed to raw.
Meagan's Bay; went there for the first time on our last RCI cruise and enjoyed the beach and views there.

Thanks both for the updates.

Thumbs up
Cica, the only way I like oysters is to have them deep fried. If they are breaded/battered and cook just right, their is still some liquor (juice) that keeps them moist and adds to the flavor. Ok, now I need to get a fix of them.

Chops only has an oyster "duet" which is four on the half shell, broiled. Two are with a barbecue sauce glaze (not too my taste) and two are Rockefeller style which is good.
