Even after the new smoking policy takes effect in January, there will still be areas of the casino that allow smoking.

Can't imagine removing smoking from the casino entirely....money definitely would be lost

I can't remember if it was on Royal Caribbean where they alternated nights as smoke free and smoking.

formal nights are usually smoke free in the casino right now. Not sure if that will change with the new policy

That sounds familiar - no smoking on formal nights in the casino. People don't want to get their expensive clothing smoked up and a lot of people like to have a James Bond/Tiffany Case experience in the casino on formal nights.

According to RCI's smoking policy, which can be found here, certain areas of the casino are smoking, other areas of the casino are non-smoking.

I assume this is the policy as of now, and they'll update it after January 1st, when their new policy goes into effect.
