Angry RCI I-Phone App
Yes, I have a new toy, the Apple 5S I-Phone, so of course I downloaded the RCCL Mobile APP.
In opening the App, at the bottom of the page, there is a link to "Deals", which I of course opened, and found a free drink package for select Transatlantic 2014 cruises, of which my upcoming is listed, Barcelona to fort Lauderdale, which I booked while on Brilliance last October/November for this upcoming October 26, 2014 sailing on Liberty. After calling the 800 reservation number to ask for the package, I was informed that there was a "window" to book, and that I had booked too early last year. The "deal" link only said that the cruise had to be booked before February 28, 2014. I advised the reservation specialist that the link said nothing about a window other than it ended next week, which of course got me no where.

Not real sure how I would pursue this-kinda hoping Sonny or Dave might be able to point me in the right direction as a number or someone to talk to-just seemed like a nice thing, to then be told you booked too early. I'm fairly sure this will be my one and only shot at a transatlantic-air fare cost is, well, a WOW! However ChoiceAir deos have the best prices listed for air travel.

If you read the fine print located at the bottom of this page, your booking probably isn't eligible for the drink package anyway if you used an onboard booking for the cruise. There is nothing you can do about at this point. I'm not even sure if canceling your current booking and then rebooking would be accepted.

Thanks Dave, but, not being a big drinker really, it's just not worth the effort, or is there really a need, to cause a stink. Just kinda thought the "deals" link was not fully forthcoming or written well.
