Question RCCI Jewel First time
Hi Cruisers
As having cruised 8 Carnival cruises. We are some what unsure of what is offered on RCCI. We have just received from RCCI the list of Beverage packages. Do we really need to purchase one. On Carnival basic coffee and tea, water some juices are free anytime on lido deck. Does RCCI also offer this to . We are not in anyway heavy drinkers. That will be as we go. Thanks for the info . Happy Cruising. :

The beverage packages are just an option, and actually Carnival has them too. All the mainstream cruise lines are offering them, and even some premium lines. People buy them because they think it is a better value than buying drinks one at a time. If you don't want a package you can always buy sodas, alcohol, specialty coffees by the drink.

The basic beverages for meals, juices, lemonade, etc., are covered in your RCI cruise fare, again, just like with Carnival.

You don't have to purchase a drink package. The same complimentary drinks you find on Carnival will also be available on Royal Caribbean.

Thanks for getting back so quickly. We sort of feel like newbies again . On other cruises we knew what to expect. We are not familiar with RCCI at all . We were losing interest after our last cruise. But it's back now and the anticipation is high . And with that the addiction returns . Cruise time is back. Happy cruising.
