Autism at seas
Kudos to RCL for being voted as an advocate for the autistic. They were hosting autism at sea this week on the explorer of the seas. They provided a low stimulation section in the windjammer as well as other family activities.
There were 1600 kids on the ship this week, out of 3600 pax.
Let me also say that the autistic children were much better behaved than the unsupervised teens who roamed the ship in packs like wild dogs. They were filthy, loud and disrespectful.
But i digress. I'm just glad to see that a major cruise line is finally aware of the special needs community and I hope they continue to make strides in this area
