Default Deck Public Areas
I can't recall, but does RCI describe the various public areas such as restaurants and lounges and other areas of interest by decks in the daily news so that new cruisers will have a handy item to carry to familiarize them with location? I do remember that there was a model of the ship by the elevators that does help as well.
Thanks

No, they will list the lounge name/dining room name etc. and put the deck number. Or in the case of the Allure/Oasis an area like Boardwalk Deck 6. When you check-in on the first day in the terminal they normally give you a map of the ship with the deck plan. You can also pick one up at the Guest Relations.

Thanks, I just couldn't remember if it was broken out by deck other than when you come off the elevators. It will help those that have never been on a cruise to be able to have a ship map to carry around so that they can easily get their bearings. I can remember being at the opposite end of the ship or side when looking for a particular place. It will help save some steps and lessen frustration.
