We are going on the Explorer of The Seas in March. Does anyone have an approximate idea, of how much internet connection is, to have in your room? We have never taken our computer with us before, but were considering it this time. Thanks in advance for your help.
Here is the FAQ on Royal Caribbean's Wi-Fi. Not sure if you can get it in your room or if you have to go to a hotspot. Make sure you bring a lock for when you're not in your room. Also maybe make it if it's not already so that you have to type your password to sign on.

I'm not sure if the Explorer has had it's wi-fi upgraded to include the cabins. If not they have hot spots on the ship. As noted in the link MCPayne provided, the price is the same whether you use the internet cafe or your own laptop.
It costs quite a bit, and the pages turn s.l.o.w.l.y., so you can just see the dollars ticking away as you wait for the next page!!
