I'm not picking a fight with you, but it seems you are annoyed by my post.

It seems you simply didn't have a good agent or agents. Please don't take it out on all of them just because you had some bad ones.

Your experience is really an exception and not typical of what most people have experienced.

Dave..In my earlier post ,I said IMO TA's are for some people just not me AND am not taking it out on ALL TA's. I thought this site was about people's opinons and experiences. The first question was TA vs RCCI. I was giving my opinon and experience with 2 TA's. As far as annoyed with you,I am not but as you with me,i don't agree with your opinon's all the time,like maybe people shouldn't sail RCCI anymore because they are taking away the freebie stuff.

I guess this is one of those situations where I misinterpreted the meaning of a post. It happens. For instance, I never said people shouldn't sail with RCI anymore because of their cutbacks, yet you think I said it.

My apologies for the misunderstanding. By the way, I just took the liberty of fixing your cruise clocks. They were crooked.

I think I complained as much as anyone about RCCL taking perks away from their loyal customers, but I never read a post were someone said not to cruise with them because of that issue. Mike, I've had a couple of problems with travel agents too. In most cases I find I know as much as my agent - but I always give her my booking because she has been very helpful at times. A good agent is a great benefit if you don't have the time or resources. Another answer to your first post is - booking directly with a cruise company is better than booking with a random online travel agency - in my opinion.

Sonny...i guess i misunderstood the comments about the perks,sorry,you are right about the online travel sites,I can say I would never use them. I have heard horror stories about them. Honestly,If I had a friend or someone I know, I would use a TA but since I don't,I'll wing it.

Dave...neat.. did you get to meet richard and kyle ? I would like to meet them someday. I got to meet my favorite driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. at a walmart here in tx a few years ago. I would have really liked to met Dale Sr. before he past away.

I'll agree that all TA's are not the same. I've read plenty of horror reports of dishonest and inept ones. If you find a good one though they are awesome to have in your corner.
