Same here. The Radisson shuttle was a disaster the last time we were there and we ended up taking a cab. If people would simply follow the rules and show up at their scheduled shuttle time things would work better. But they don't want to wait and thus the mob scene ensues.

I agree about the Holiday Inn Express in Cocoa Beach. The room was clean and in great shape. There is a room in the lobby with a couple of computers you can use for free to access the internet. The rate includes a very decent breakfast. The staff is very friendly. As Cruise Fanatic mentioned, it's across a parking lot to a strip mall with at least a couple of restaurants.

We are staying at the Marriot in Port Canaveral. We get shuttle service for $10 PP each way.

Hi tbbl,
How many people in your party ?

If you read above, although your hotel may have a shuttle, with alot of people staying your hotel wanting to get to the ship at the same time, it may be a hassle. Many times a taxi maybe cheaper, and/or just less hassle and personal service. Just an idea.

Country Inns and Suites is the nearest, you can actually see the ships from the parking lot. You sign up for the time slot for the shuttle when you check in.The free breakfast is not a buffet but egg sandwiches, fruit, cereal, toast, muffins, juices and coffee. If you drive, you park your car there for free and they pick you up also. We have stayed there twice. NICE,NEW AND CLEAN.Have a nice cruise. We will be on the Independence April 3. Fred
