MIAMI LODGING INFORMATION

My wife and I will be cruising on the Navigator of the Seas 18-25 June 2005. We have been on other cruises, but have never left from Miami. We will be arriving in Miami the day before and would like some information on hotels near the port, with easy taxi access or shuttles. Thanks.

Welcome NCBILL! If you are looking for economical try Bayside Holiday Inn (right across the street from Bayside Marketplace). If money is not an issue and you want a bit of luxury, then stay at the Intercontinental. Both are very near the port and a taxi should cost between $5-7 from either place.

I reccommend the Bayside Holiday Inn to the majority of my clients sailing from Miami. It's reasonably priced and there are lots of restaurants & activities across the street at Bayside Marketplace. They have some nice entertainment in the evening.

My vote goes to the Intercontinental - it is a great hotel in a great location - have stayed there often.
