don't assume I haven't walked in your shoes "dear". Like graceandlaw said.... if life hands you lemons, make lemonade... maybe lemonade wouldn't be good for some people since they already are too puckered. Lighten up and enjoy the fact that you can take a wonderful vacation.

Just came back from vacation on the Grandeur of the Seas on RCCL. We had a great time and we did go to all the ports of call. The best port was Coco Cay, which was a really nice way to spend the day

Freeport Bahamas, in my opinion, is not ready for visitors. We went shopping at International Bazaar at the suggestion of the cruise director and it was a mistake. Half the stores were close and the things were very expensive. I took the city bus ($1 per person) and went to Port Lucaya and it was much better for shopping.

My wife and I are going on the Grandeur of the Seas about a week later than you are. Our travel agent says they will be going to the original ports. The damage was not so bad there. Have a good cruise.

I agree totally with the thought of when handed lemons make lemonade and if that does not come out right and you are on a cruise ask the guy with the Jamaican accent to add some Rum. My wife and I are going to be on this ship starting November 13. At this point I doubt we will get to go to Georgetown, am I disappointed, somewhat, will I let it bother me. Not at all. I waned to do the snorkel with the stingrays again like we did a few years ago when we went out on the Rhapsody of the Seas

(oh by the way on Grandeur does the guy who makes the announcements make it sound like Grandeur of Disease? The guy on Rhapsody did and we still laugh about that.)

Anyway I canít wait I have a little spreadsheet on my PC at the office that gives me a countdown along with a picture of the boat. So what am I attempting to say here is if you are looking for problems I know you can always find them. Trust me I know people like that all too well. Go out and look for the good, it is much more fun than looking for the bad.
