Royal Caribbean announced that its newest ship, Allure of the Seas, will start sailing on December 12, 2010. Allure is the sister ship to Oasis of the Seas. Both ships will leave out of Ft. Lauderdale's cruise port, Port Everglades. Allure will sail on Sundays, alternating eastern and western Caribbean itineraries.

Hi all, quick question...we are ready to book our second cruise and everything I heard was to use a travel/cruise agent and not book directly through RCI for the best cost. RCI sent us (gold member) an invite to allow us to book on Allure in a few days before the general public. Go with them or agent? Suggestions? We really want to go on Oasis or Allure around Christmas 2010 ( schedule not out as of yet). I know the Christmas cruises our expensive but with the kids in school our options are limited. Thanks in advance.
I'd still suggest your travel agent. They can get you the best prices and can also watch out for your interests. If you give your travel agent the promo code, they can book for you.
OK...thanks. I actually popped into the travel agancy today and she had all my info ready...wow. Even was aware that we had put $400.00 down on our next cruise while we were on F.O.S.
