We have booked a balcony cabin near the back of the bump on deck 7 for $1349. We got 100 dollars on board credit with this. Now we see a deal for $1099 for a stateroom guarentee. We are weighing the pros and cons but what is your opinion on what we should choose. We are cruisinf June 6 and can't wait to get on the Liberty. There's just this little question and us two in the cabin aren't sure what to do.

Being a frugal individual, I would say go for it!
If you're cruising on the 6th I would think it might be too late to change. I assume you booked through an agent?

The stateroom guarantee is a different promotion. IF you can switch, it means you most likely will lose your cabin on deck seven behind the bump. You may also loose the OBC since that was under a different promotion. I guess all you can do is ask.

We have already asked and we could switch and we would recieve 500 of onboard credit if we do. The only problem is we don't want to get stuck with a handicapped room or anything like that.

Stuck with a handicapped room ??? They are the best, double the size, and triple the bathroom, and balcony....in MHO you would be lucky.

As Queen said, you'd be lucky to get one. I've not been in a RCI one, but I've booked a couple on Carnival and the bathrooms are huge! Of course I let them know I wasn't handicapped, so they could release the cabin if it was needed. They have the best locations too!

Yeah they are bigger. Last year on carnival we were unknowingly given one and we just didn't liek it. It didn't really feel right. To us just too much like a nursing home with emergency cords and everything. But i agree the shower was nice.

What is the category guarantee? Is it an E-3? There's a chance you could get upgraded to a D-1 if you take the $1,099 deal. $500 is a lot of money saved - and you could end up with a better cabin than what you originally booked. It's a no-brainerógo for it!

We just called our travel agent and the room we were put in is the same one we initially had. So we just got money back to have the same room.
