Enchantment Diamond Event

On the Enchantment of the Seas this month. Anyone know what is offered to Diamond members? Is there a Diamond Lounge? Thanks

I'm nowhere near the status, but was just on the Enchantment a few weeks ago. There is no lounge actually called the "Diamond Lounge," but maybe they will designate one of the lounges (Viking Crown, for example) for members only.

The Diamond Lounge would be a designated area on the ship. You would have to be a Diamond member to be advised of the location. Hopefully a Diamond member has been on the ship recently. Thanks.

There is no Diamond Lounge on the Enchantment. Effective September 1, RCI changed the amenities program and although the Enchantment has a Concierge Lounge, diamond members are no longer welcome in it unless they are booked into a suite. You will have a nightly "diamond event" at a designated lounge, with free wine/champagne and 25% off all other bar drinks. They also will have an area set up in the morning for diamond members to get "concierge lite" services. You can see the details of the revised C&A program here

Thanks Dave. We became Diamond Members after our last cruise October, 2008. This is our first since then. We knew all the amenities changed but were wondering what area they used for the diamond event on the Enchantment. Also, don't know if it is a nightly event or a one time only offering. Thanks again.

We did the 13-night Mediterranean on the Legend, May 2008. Cruise Chat was a life-saver since it was our first time in Europe.

It is a nightly happy hour. They originally planned to do it once per cruise, but backlash from disgruntled diamond members caused them to make it nightly thing.

No telling where it will be. It could be the same lounge every night, or rotated around depending on scheduling for private parties, etc. Off hand I'd suspect the Viking Crown would be the default setting, but then you'll just have to check your daily Cruise Compass.
