On the Royal Caribbean they have two types of Balcony staterooms, Superior and Deluxe. What's the difference between the staterooms. The Superior is larger 206 sq ft and cost less, Deluxe is 186 sq ft and cost slighty more.

thank you

Sorry Fano, no one answered your question more promptly. I checked a couple of ships, and sometimes there is a special residency rate, or military rate that may make some deluxe cabins more than a superior cabin, but in most cases the superior is bigger and more expensive, and the deluxe is smaller and less expensive. If you have a question about a specific ship, I would be glad to answer it, and I am sure others would chime in....

Anyway, Welcome to Cruise Chat !

Thank you Queenofcruzin for responding to my question. I am cruising ( transatlantic)on the Navigator of the Seas this coming April 10.

This is my second cruising, last year I took the South America route on the Radiance of the Seas from Valparaiso Chile to Buenos Aires Argentina.

Wow, I was just on the Radiance to Mexico and loved it. Navigator for a Transatlantic sounds amazing, I was on the Adventure for 7 day from San Juan and had a great time, I thought that ship was HUGE....LOL with the bigger ships now. Enjoy !

I did the transatlantic on the Navigator in April of 2008 and both me and my wife loved it. It was pretty calm all the way across. The Superior Balcony stateroom is a "D" category, and the Deluxe is an "E" category. The "D" category is only a foot wider. You would notice that between the foot of the bed and the wall; otherwise there's no difference. I'd book which ever one is the lest expensive--the important thing is that you have a balcony.
