Cruise Price question??

I made reservations on the Navigator of the Seas for Thanksgiving. I booked 2 connecting inside cabins for a total of 6 people. I am a very brave person, taking 4 teenagers. The cost was around $5,000. Does this sound reasonable? Not including air. I will be arriving at the Miami Airport and I am trying to find the cheapest way to get 6 people from the airport to a hotel. Any suggestions?

We sailed this past thanksgiving on Mariner. We paid about the same per person as your quote. Not sure if you can to better but it doesn't seem way out of line.

I don't know Miami airport transportation but you might have luck with a google search. This is what I did from Orlando to Port Canaveral where I found a limo for 4 that was cheaper than a group fan.

Welcome to cruise-chat. Super Shuttle runs out of Miami Airport and will cost about $10 pp to get to hotels downtown. Taxis run about $18, so since there are 6 of you it might be cheaper to grab two cabs. However, you might want to check on hotels that offer free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and then from the hotel to the port. Again, since there are 6 of you - it might end up being cheaper to pay a litle more for a hotel, but get the free transfers.

Hi--my first chat experience, so bear with me. My family (6 of us) will be sailing from Miami soon and I made hotel reservations at the Holiday Inn--Miami International Airport. Although I had to book 2 rooms, it was well worth the $99 rate for each because they provide free transportation from the airport to the hotel and then from the hotel to the Port of Miami. As was stated on an earlier post, those charges would be at a minimum of $10 per person for both services...a total of $120...so I figure I am paying about $80 plus tax for 2 hotel rooms for the night, not bad at all!! Good Luck!
