Tipping Travel Agent

We recently booked a cruise on RCI for April through a local travel agent. Are we suppose to tip the agent when we finalize our travel arrangements and pick up our air line vouchers, etc.?

Hi Azellus, and welcome to cruise-chat. I don't tip my Travel Agent, and I doubt that most do. I do, however, send referrals her way -- family members, mainly, who do not already have a relationship with an agent.

We do not tip our TA. We also send her referrals, I have a few of her cards in my wallet at all times. We really like our TA and knows she works hard for us. We usually send her a box of candy or something for Christmas.

Travel agents are professionals. I'd no more tip my agent than I would my dentist. As the others do, I provide referrals.

Another thing our TA really likes is Photos. She keeps a photo board going, she loves feed back.
