Bottled Water?

I read somewhere that some people take cases of bottled water onto the ship with them for drinking. Is this something that anyone recommends? How available is water on the ship? Is it bottled water? Would it be wise to have a case for packing bottles in excursion bags for on the islands? (Is bottled water something we can order from room service?)

there was water available everywhere, and they also offered a bottled water package.
The water tasted just fine. Remember, this is what they use to make the frozen drinks, ice cubes and coffee also

The bottled water was three something on the ship. Just buy it ashore for your excursions or bring some with you. We brought soda and nothing was said to us.

We just got back last week from Adventure and my wife would take hers sports bottle to the Windjammer and after breakfast fill it with Lemonade or water and then top it off in the cabin with ice (our steward kept it filled all the time at our request) before we left for shore or to the pool. They would always bring free water in a plastic glass when we were pool side if asked at no charge.
