I am going on the Enchantment of the Seas in less than 6 weeks now, and am wondering if the outlets in the staterooms have 3 prongs or just 2? I was going to bring a surge protector (power strip, multi-outlet, whatever you want to call it) to make sure I have enough outlets to charge whatever I need to charge, (camcorder battery, digital camera battery, iPod), and also was going to bring a small clock since I booked an interior stateroom.

On the Grandeur the 110 volt outlets accepted three-prong plugs - at least at the desk (I am looking at a photo). Since the Enchantment is the same basic class of ship, I am sure it has the same plugs. However the plug in the bathroom might be another story, since it said it was limited to shavers only.

Thanks Dave. I would probably charge most my electronics at the desk anyway, and not in the bathroom.

I always wondered why there are no outlets by the bed stand. It sure is inconvenient to have to run an extension cord from the dressing table for those that need to run a CPAP. A power strip is a great idea, seeing as how there's only two outlets.

It seems like it would make sense, Sonny. I guess because they have to change the configuration of the room so often? I'm sure they don't want to overload the system, fire hazard, but the location of the plugs are strange. Maybe the buy the desk units prewired, so all they have to do is tie them into the wiring.
