Can anyone comment on the possibility of upgrading from an inside cabin at the time of check-in. Is there any break on the brochure price? Is there any particular person to see at the terminal? We are travelling on Brilliance of the Seas Oct 5th and are on something of a budget. The inside was affordable but as I am celebrating my 60th Birthday something a little better would be nice if we can get it at a good price. Any comments?

It depends on if the ship is full or not. I would suggest that you board the ship as early as possible and visit the customer relations desk (purser's desk). Let them know just what you posted here and ask if there are any upgrades available. Depending on how full the ship is, they may offer you a great deal, as any additional revenue is found money.

However, if the ship is full (or close to it) you probably won't be offered a "special deal".

On any occasion, have a great cruise and a happy 60th birthday!

Tom

Thanks Tom. I will take your advice.

Has anyone had any experience with upgrades?
