Getting off ship on last day

If I have rented a car from Hertz and they are going to pick us up at the ship, what time should I have them be there. Our flight isn't until 6:30 pm so wanted to have car for the day. Is 9:00 Am to early?

Thats a question you will have to ask Hertz. as far as I know Enterprise is the only company that will pick you up. Hertz in Galveston makes you get your own taxi back to their office.

Although getting off by 9:00 AM is certainly a possibility, you might be better to schedule pick-up for 9:30 or 10. There are soooo many variables in when passengers can disembark: Customs, immigration, how many ships are also in port, which port, actual arrival time to port, number of passengers on board, and the list goes on....
If you disembark in the US - I would suggest you have your cell phone handy and call them when it appears that the ship is about ready to clear.

We are disembarking at Port Canaveral. The cell phone idea is excellent. Hertz has a rental office at Cape Canaveral. I'm assuming that is close to the Port.
