Suggestions? Ft lauderdale hotel for a day?

We will be arriving from our cruise early morning and flight home does not leave until 8pm. Looking for a hotel that will allow early check in, a nice pool area, shuttle service from cruise port and to airport and good food service there or within walking distance.Any suggestions?

I have stayed at the Embassy Suites in Fort Lauderdale and been quite pleased. I know they offered shuttle service from the airport with early check-in and I can't remember if they offered it to the port, but I think they did.
