Ice Show Tickets

I searched and found a few answers to my questions on old posts, but wanted to see if there was any new info out there.

We will definitely want to see the ice show while on our cruise. I read that tickets are offered for a few different shows and you have to listen for the announcement (or look for it on the schedule) and stand in line to obtain tickets. Is this still done the same way?

Any suggestions or clues to get tickets? I'm sure it wont be a problem to get them, but if I'm in the middle of a fun family activity, I'll hate to have to leave to stand in line for tickets somewhere (even if only for a short while). Where is the line usually located? Do they ever completely run out of tickets?

I think they don't issue tickets for ice shows anymore except for the Oasis. It's a first come first served basis--at least it was on the Independence.

Has anyone been on the Liberty recently? Would like to confirm that what Sonny wrote also is now aplicable to the Liberty.
