I'm not sure about how RCI does the Back to Back cruises. I think Sonny recently did one and will know. I would imagine you should have both passes just in case. On Carnival, they escort you off the ship to go through Customs and then back on so you don't have to wait in the terminal. Then they re-check you in at the Purser's Desk before the new guests come aboard. Sorry, that wasn't much help. Anyway, Congrats on your first Back to Back cruise!

You'll love your back to back! There's this feeling you get when everyone on the last night of the cruise talk about how sad they are because the cruise is over.

In answer to your question: I made out both my set sail passes on line. After the first cruise you'll meet in a lounge area with other back to back passengers, and you'll be taken though customs and to the same windows were you got your first set sail card. Then you will board the ship again and will be able to go to your cabin or the pool ares. The whole process takes about 30 minutes, and you don't need any of your luggage. If you go to the "Guest Relations Desk" on deck 4, you will be instructed on what to do. I love back to back cruises. My motto is FLY ONCE—CRUISE TWICE.
