Hi we got married on the Liberty of the seas last April 08 and had the most perfect day of our lives. we were docked in the Caymen Islands and got married onboard in the Sky light chapel. There were 5 other weddings in the port of miami at the start of the cruise whilst everybody was embarking. We thought we made the right choice because everyone got off at the caymen islands and so we had the ship virtually to ourselves.
The wedding co-ordinater spoke with us a couple of days before the wedding to run through the day and what time we were to be married. I worked my hair and make up appointments around these times to ensure i was ready on time. We could'nt have asked for anything better.

Congratulations, cica! I'm sure you'll hear good and bad comments about it, most of the comments I've heard have been rave reviews. My friends got married on a cruise, but did it a little differently. They were married in St. Thomas instead of on the ship. So that might be another alternative for your daughter. The weddings we've seen on board have been fantastic and the couple were treated very well by the crew. Everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time.

I would echo chris who got married when most of the ships guests were off the ship. Often there are discounts in the salon those days too The consultants really know what they are doing, having time to meet with them on the ship, having the chapel to yourselves all sound perfect. Congrats cica, don't worry too much, enjoy your wedding on a cruise
