My husband owes me an easy vacation and we have been on Liberty twice already and love the ship. There is a 4 day cruise on Nov. 28 for really a great price but I am thinking would miss the other 3 days on the boat! Otherwise, I would choose the Mariner on Dec.5 for 7 days. We have never been on the Mariner so I am having a split decision...Please help!!
You may get lots of different opinions on this. Going by your countdown, since you're going to be on a 7 night cruise on the Oasis in January, I would say go with the 4 night cruise on the Liberty. I will be on her sister ship, the Freedom, in October.

Thanks McPayne. I am just not sure if it is worth it to go on a 4 day Liberty Cruise. There is so much to do in just 7 days and I don't want to miss out on it!
It looks like you live on the West coast so you would need to take into consideration the cost of airfare for the Liberty. With that in consideration, I would probably just do the Mariner where you can drive.
If you liked Liberty, there is no reason you wouldn't also like Mariner. We've been on her three times, and she is a great ship, with a great crew. California is loosing a wonderful asset due to their lack of interest (or their great economy). Give Mariner a shot-you won't be disapointed
Hello ask2112, WELCOME TO CRUISE-CHAT! I'd take 7 days on the Mariner over 4 days on the Liberty without a second thought. I've been on both ships several times and find it hard to say which one I like most. The Mexican Riviera is a great change from the (same ol' same ol') Caribbean cruises--especially during the months the whales are migrating, which includes December.
Thanks for the replies and welcome! It does look like we are leaning towards the Mariner, for a full week vacation and something different as you say Sonny. The Mexican Riviera will definitely be a change to the same ol' Caribbean route. Thanks for all your input, I'll let you know what we decide
