Just returned from a cruise 11-09...the Main Dining Room food and service is awful....they should be a shame to do this to the employes and the name of RCI

We were just talking how the quality of food and service can deviate from ship to ship. This is true for any cruise line. When on the Radiance last month I enjoyed the best food of any cruise I've ever been on - and that's saying a lot. I'm surprised to hear that the food was "awful". I was under the impression that there was an effort to improve food quality. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't get the food and service that Royal Caribbean is know for. A letter to the main office may be due.

I'm really sad to hear that. We've always enjoyed the food on Majesty but, it's been over a year since we have sailed on her.

Having been on the Majesty 4 weeks ago, I didn't have any problems with the food and the service was exceptional. I would be curious if JLMKEY spoke to the headwaiter and voiced his/her displeasure. So many times people complain to everyone but the person who should hear the complaint. Not knowing the details, I would hope that this is not the case here.
