Ok, guys and gals...lets form a conga line...and the music goes like this....
4 more days to go-oh...4 more days to go-oh 02-06-05..The Mariner!
I have been all over the scale as far as emotions are concerned about this cruise. It seems a little guy named Murphy took up residence on my shoulder. But I think I have him evicted ...finally.
What it all boils down to is my hubby is going to have to miss this cruise because of a business emergency.I was so dissapointed. And I was going to skip it too cause I felt quilty that I was going(my daughter is going too}and he was not.We were really excited about being on the Mariner this time.He knew I didn't want to go without him so he arranged for my dear sister to go in his place!(He did this as a surprise for me...he is such a sweetie!!! )
I just wanted to let ppl know that it was a very painless process to make this exchange with RCCL. If you are not flying you have up till 24 hrs. to make changes. We did this through our TA.And we will pick up my sisters documents when we get to the pier.
So on with the conga line..I feel like dancing...I will be leading the line on a red scooter, lol, since my old bones complain when I actually try to dance ..lol...the heart is still willing tho ...Anyone going on the same cruise...if you see me onboard on my scooter...give me a shout and let me know who you are in here..4 more days to go-oh..4 more days to go-oh

Have a great time! I have no doubt that you will. Sorry to hear your husband couldn't go, but you are right, I've had to make a last-minute change like that and it went rather smoothly. Hope your sister catches your enthusiasm!

Karen, believe me my sister doesn't lack in the enthusiasm department. She is as excited as I am , lol.But this is her first cruise. It will be my 3rd but this is the first time without my hubby. Gonna be a girls cruise for us this time. And there are alot of things that I have always felt like I missed out on even tho I had a wonderful time.My hubbys idea of a vacation actually includes resting a good part of the time. Can you imagine that? lol.He is happy just sitting on deck for hours at a time, but I like to be moving and seeing and doing all I can while I can .I have special needs so I missed things like getting in the pool or spa and hubby has never enjoyed the clubs. But He likes the casinos lol.
Anyway,we may be doing a version of Grannys Gone Wild....But don't worry, we are very modest,so there won't be any flashing lol.You probably will never see anyone have as much fun together as we do and do it with good taste!
4 more days to go-oh...4 more days to go-oh!!!!

Hey, Cruisinalong! I finally got in! Hi all. Just wanted to let you know that I am rarin' to go and can't wait to see you. I do have a question, tho? I am currently taking a few medications (10 pills a day, plus a nasal spray. I know to take my medicine with me in my carry-on. I usually just fill up my weekly/daily thingy, and I don't want to take all my bottles. Will this be a problem? None are narcotics, just blood pressure, etc.

Now, let's get this conga line moving! Four more days to go-oh!

Springfever, don't worry about your meds - as long as you have them with as you have planned there will be no problem.

Boy! I wish I were on this cruise. I leave on the Splendour on Feb. 12, but I sure would love to be joining in this Ladies Conga Line, with Cruisingalong's red scooter heading the line. Whoopee!!! Have a great time - I will be with you ladies in spirit.
Nancy
