OBC balance OK to use on next cruise?

Just wondering... If you get a sizeable OBC on a cruise (both RCCL and TA promotion) but don't use it all, can you use the balance on a subsequent cruise, or do you just lose it?

In most cases the OBC has to be used while on your cruise. There are some exceptions where you would be able to cash in your On Board Credits, or have credit applied to your credit card. To be sure you would be wise to check with the Guest Relations Desk when you board the ship. Some OBC's are considered "purchased" credits - others would be considered "complementary". A Next-Cruise-Booking OBC wound be an example of a complementary, and a OBC from your RCCL Visa Card points would be an example of a purchased. Like I said before, check with Guest Relations to be sure. Hope this helps...

Seems that there are lots of restrictions and conditions for cashing in your benefits. I will check in with the GR desk soon after boarding.

Gee, if I have to use it all, my wife will love the shops even more and we may wind up having to drink and gamble a lot!

Oh, goodness.

My wife could blow through the entire OBC with one visit to the spa! But, maybe one of those his/ her massages wouldn't be too bad. Can't remember the last time I got a massage.

Unfortunately, I never win at gambling. Whatever amount I bet, it'll go directly to increasing the ship's revenue for the cruise. No risk at all of their having to return any of it back to me.

But, I do enjoy the bells and the pretty lights!

Balance on OBC ? I am speechless, this is never been a problem I have had to even think about.....OMG ! I must be very bad, or very good to the cruise line....just kidding johnboy, but that one was BRAND NEW to me.
