Looking forward to our first RC cruise in May of this year. We have never booked a cruise before and did not realize how early most people book them. We are wanting a Superior oceanview room with a balcony. Most of the Voyager class ships appear to have the same rooms left, 9658, 7658, 6358. Was wondering why the same rooms seem to be left on these cruises? Is there an obstructed view? We also have other choices (1370, 6350), anyone have any input on the best choice out of these rooms? Airfare to Ft. Lauderdale is much cheaper than to Miami. Would like to find out about what kind of options available for shuttle service to Miami area hotel (we are flying in the night before), to the port, and to the airport upon returning from our cruise. Any information would be appreciated.

Alot of the time the computer will give you best available. It could be that the reason those same rooms are available on several V-class ships is because the ships are no where near to being full. How far in advance are you booking?
From what I understand on these boards usually the first rooms that are booked the fastest are the really expensive rooms and the really cheap rooms. From this I would assume that balcony rooms fill up last.

welcome to cruise-chat! Based on location alone the best of those choices is 6350 (actually a good location). 1370 is a connecting room and sometimes those are not as well insulated from extraneous noise from the adjoining stateroom. The first 3 choices are right cross from the aft stairwell, so foot traffic and some noise from people congregating in that area should be considered. Hope this input helps.
