This may seem like a silly question but does anyone know how rough the seas are this time of year on the Pacific side of cruising? I have a tendency to get seasick if the boat hits rough seas. I do take along Sea Bands and they help tremendously -- barely had any problems on my last cruise. Just wondered how it might be in November aboard the Radiance on the Pacific side.
Hi TigerMom, welcome to Cruise-Chat. The ocean is always unpredictable. If you fear being sea sick, might as well take the bands with you. There are natural cures, too. Green apples and ginger work wonders. If you already have the bands, then take them along. The ships all run stabilizers and are much more smooth than they used to be. Best wishes for a fantastic cruise!
I sailed the Radiance in early December and had no trouble with rough seas. However, each sailing is different. I usually take Bonine every day now just to be safe. Nothing messes up a good cruise like seasickness.
