i'm going on the radiance of the seas for the first time. does anyone know the nationality of the crew? holland america's oosterdaam had mainly indonesians and they were wonderful.

Welcome to cruise-chat. Holland America's crew is made up mostly of Philipinos and Indonesians. They actually contract with those countries. Other cruise lines like Royal Caribbean will have a wide variety of crew members from many different countries. Philippines, Indonesia, Jamaica, Honduras, Croatia, Belarus, just to name a few.

Sure someone's had a bad day every once in a while, but for the most part they're the reason you keep coming back. They work so hard, and try everything they can to please you.
