I was a passenger on Majesty of the Seas. Sailed on 1-24-1-28-05. I got a 24 hour stomach virus on second day of cruise, (i do not think it was the "infamous" virus going around. Still not feeling a 100% better almost two weeks after the attack. Also, my husband was hospitalized with pneumonia, the monday after we docked. Has there been any reports of cases of pneumonia> There is one complaint I had for the entire trip - the amount of "second hand smoke" that we were forced to breathe during the entire cruise.

I thought you could not smoke on the ship except outside on the decks ?

As to smoking: On outside decks, smoking was limited to the right side of the ship; but inside the casino, there was only a small area which was considered non-smoking; Also to get to the main entertainment stage in theA chorous line Lounge you had to go either through the casino or the Schooner bar. Especially on disembarkment our staging area for the code which was grey was located in that lounge, and there was so much smoking we waited in the hall and sat on the floor
