Has anyone been to Chakanaab??

The only organized excursion I see is for the helmet dive (which would NOT be on my list of things I would do) but the park looks neat. Is it worth doing, and would it be an easy thing to do on our own?

We did this tour on our own last Nov. It's very easy to get to, jump in a taxi at the port and ask to be taken to the National Park. i can remember how much it was but, no more then 15-15 dollars It's about 10 mins drive. It is truely wonderful. Swimming with dolphins, swimming in the warm blue sea. There is also a sealion show. Getting back is just as easy. There is a taxi rank at the main enterance.

As Billy indicated, it is quite easy to do Chankanaab on your own and if you haven't been, worth a visit. Tom did an in-depth report of the park for PortReviews that you might find helpful. Here is the link:
