We are considering the Bermuda and Bahamas itenerary next summer. This looks real nice and I hope we can pull it off. Hows the Explorer looking these days as its almost ten years old? Also is it due for a refurbishment this year or next year? I've heard and read comments about this and am just curious. Any other thoughts or pics of the Explorer would be nice. Thank you

I just got back from the Explorer....she is looking wonderful. She looks like a new ship...they really do keep upgrading and the rooms are fabulous. Not too worry...you will not be dissapointed. I went on the 10 day cruise to Bermuda, St. Thomas, St. Maarten and Puerto Rico...had the best time of my life...so far....

Oh that is good to hear. She looks like a wonderful ship. I want to do that cruise so bad. We did it a couple years ago on Princess and am dying to go back on RCI. How was the food?

Absolutely wonderful! Definately go every night (dressed appropriately...ladies nice cocktail dress, dress slacks/nice evening shirt and heels...men a suit tie if you like and dress pants...no polo shirts does not look classy)...they had a lobster day the last day it was great! You will enjoy the food. My kids are very picky eaters and they tried lamb, lobster, shrimp, steak everything and ate it all....I was impressed. Have a great time!

Carmena610, so happy to hear about how much you enjoyed Explorer; we sailed on her a couple of years ago and did Adventure this year and it was in great shape also. We could see the crew (in the Shadows) always doing maintenance and this is how they keep up.
