Hi everyone. If I wanted to do a little shopping on the ship what kind of variety would I expect? We will be on Liberty Of The Seas. Is there somewhere you can get candy bars, potato chips etc. I would expect T-Shirts, and hats, with RCI logo's etc. I haven't seen a listing of the variety of the shops. Anyone?
There is a sundries area of one of the shops where they sell chips, candy, etc. But why buy these when there is so much food and sweets to be had?
You've got shops selling clothing, logo junk, jewelry, watches, cameras, liquor packages for pick up at the end of the cruise, flowers, handbags, souvenirs, a barbershop, Ben & Jerry's ice cream.
Mostly the things they sell on the ship are more expensive. I remember on my last cruise they had a lot of jewelry and on our first day at sea there was a sale with 50% off all silver jewelry. I liked some of silver necklaces and they were marked down $20. I told my self to wait and think maybe it'll go down more. Wrong! The last two days of the cruise, they fixed the prices of those same necklaces that I liked from $40 to $75 with a 50% off sale again! .

The casino hosts usually feels so sorry for me that they give me a care package with a cap or visor and a t-shirt or polo shirt. They will have sales on t-shirts, island print shirts, logo items, watches, gold by the inch, jewelry, liquor, and some of the perfumes are a good buy since they are duty free. There's all kinds of goodies to spend your money on, but as far as food, I'll stick to what's offered on board for free.

If you're worried that all the food is fancy and you won't have your 'junk food'
fear not. The Windjammer had nacho chips and such every day. There was also always a wide assortment of bite sized chocolate and sweet treats available. And my husband's personal favorite..the ever popular chili dog.
Most of the lounges also has popcorn and peanuts.
